Description

Long before skyscrapers touched the sky, the Marina Lighthouse stood tall, guarding Chennai’s shore.

Its bold red-and-white stripes could be seen from far away, like a giant waving hello to every ship that passed. At night, its beam slices through the dark, telling sailors, “You’re safe now, you’re home.” It has watched over the sea for decades, braving storms, sunshine, and salty winds, never once leaving its post.

For every young சென்னை வாசி (Chennai vaasi), the lighthouse is more than a tower, it’s a hero, a guide, and a piece of the city’s heart.
